How it works

Sunnyvale Drainage Help is a free referral service. We connect homeowners in Sunnyvale and the South Bay with licensed contractors who fix drainage problems. We are not a contractor and we don’t do the work.

The steps

  1. You tell us what’s going on. Where the water is, when it shows up, whether you’ve noticed cracks, and how soon you want it fixed.
  2. We match you. We send your request to one licensed contractor who works in your area and does this kind of job. Not a list, and not a bidding war.
  3. We follow up within one business day, and the contractor reaches out to set up a visit and a free estimate. If they don’t, tell us and we’ll match you with someone else.
  4. You decide. You’re never obligated to hire anyone. The quote, the contract and the work are between you and the contractor.

Is it really free?

Yes. Homeowners never pay us anything. Contractors pay us a referral fee, and that fee doesn’t change the price they quote you.

How we choose the contractors we refer

  • License: an active California contractor license in a class that covers drainage work, checked on the CSLB site before the first referral and again every 3 months. You can check any license yourself at cslb.ca.gov.
  • Insurance: proof of general liability insurance on file.
  • Local: they work in your city and do drainage jobs regularly.
  • Complaints: email hello@sunnyvaledrainagehelp.com. We follow up with you and the contractor, and stop referring a contractor after repeated or serious complaints.

What happens to your information

We share your request only with the one contractor we match you with, so they can contact you. We don’t sell your information to marketers. You can ask us to delete it, or opt out of sharing, at any time. Privacy policy →
